Elden Dube


Elden has several decades of banking experience, beginning as a commercial loan officer at the First National Bank of Vermont in Northfield. He held the same position at Granite Bank in Barre and Bank of Woodstock, before joining Mascoma Bank in 1998.

A native of Madawaska, Maine, Elden received a BS in Agricultural Resource Economics Management from the University of Maine at Orono, and worked for 11 years as an Agricultural Management Specialist at USDA’s Farmers Home Administration.

Elden serves on a number of Boards including local and state organizations that represent and support matters important to the banking industry. He has Certified Lender Status designation from the Small Business Administration. Elden is also a past recipient of the prestigious Financial Services Advocate of the Year award from SBA for the District of Vermont.

Elden is a single parent of three children, and a herd of cats. He enjoys running, basketball, racquetball, rotisserie baseball, reading, and crossword puzzles.
