Unless otherwise specified by Mascoma, these rules cover all contests and promotions conducted by Mascoma. These rules may be amended by separate specific rules for major contests or promotions conducted by Mascoma, and if so, that will be specified at the time.
Contests or promotions (“contests”) will take place during the dates and times specified in the announcement. Mascoma may change the dates and/or terms of the contest without prior notice.
Unless otherwise specified, contests are open to all legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older. Employees of Mascoma Bank and its subsidiaries and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to win. Participants are eligible to win a prize in a contest conducted by Mascoma only once every 60 days.
Entrants are required to provide truthful information. Mascoma will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Mascoma will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and Mascoma will also delete any online entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
Mascoma Bank reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of their control. Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. Mascoma is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this contest
When applicable, winners will be chosen via a random drawing utilizing technology delivered by www.random.org
The winner will be notified by email and/or direct message on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram and/or letter within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
Prizes will either be delivered via email provided by the winner or will be available for pick-up during regular business hours at the Mascoma Bank branch office of the winner’s choosing. Prizes not claimed after 14 days will be considered to be abandoned and may be used in a new contest or a second drawing.

Payments of all federal, state, and local taxes related to the award of a prize are solely the responsibility of the winner of the prize. The winner will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by Mascoma in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more and such winnings will be reported to the IRS.
By participating in the contest, the winner(s) agree to have their name, voice, and likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material related to such contest, without further compensation, and (where permitted by law) to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
Contest is administered by Mascoma Bank, whose registered office is at 67 North Park St., Lebanon, NH.
Mascoma’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the contest will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
