Sheila serves Mascoma Bank customers as Vice President, Business and Municipal Services.
In over 30 of years of banking Sheila has done almost everything, and knows better than anyone what being a community banker entails.
It sounds a bit like a Hollywood cliché, but she actually started as switchboard operator in 1984. She soon became a teller, then assistant manager, and later branch manager. Sheila attended the Northern New England School of Banking and trained in commercial lending, consumer and home equity loans, cash management, business development, situational leadership, and operations management development.
Sheila is known for her tireless involvement in local nonprofits, including the Randolph Area Hospice Committee, the Randolph Rotary Sunrise Club, and her service as a trustee on the Gifford Medical Center board. When Tropical Storm Irene struck the Upper, Sheila was active in working with 10 municipalities to secure 20 million dollars in loans for recovery.
Sheila’s focus is on sustaining and strengthening relationships with municipal and cash management customers. She also works with the six southern branch managers to identify potential business opportunities and is responsible for the operations management of those same branches.
