Dick Jennings is a Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for Mascoma Bank and is the Managing Director of Mascoma Community Development, which is located at our office at 80 South Main Street in Hanover, NH. His responsibilities include; serving as New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing team leader, serving as Mascoma Community Development’s administrative director, and directing community development lending and other tax credit lending and new business development throughout New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
Dick’s commercial lending career began in 1983. His commercial finance experience is highly diversified, resulting in a strong belief that community development financing can change lives for the better in economically distressed communities.
Dick earned a BA in Economics from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business and Economics. He is also a graduate of the Massachusetts Bankers Association’s School of Commercial Lending, as well as other banking programs. He is an avid duck hunter, retriever trainer and cyclist. He currently resides in Canaan, NH with his wife and their Labrador Retrievers.
In the past, Dick has been actively involved as a member of the Board of Trustees for Alice Peck Day Health Systems Corp. and as Chairman of the Board for Alice Peck Day Lifecare Center, Inc. He also helped establish the Upper Valley Workforce Housing Coalition and in 2004 received the Vermont Bankers Association’s Outstanding Community Service Banker Award.
